Gary Evan Aubry
June 28, 1943 - May 20, 2018
Gary Evan Aubry 74, passed away on May 20th 2018. He was born to Donald and Eula (Evans) Aubry on June 28th 1943, in Monroe, Michigan. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and a Graduate of Florida State University. He was employed in human resources at Komatsu for over 30 years.
Gary enjoyed many things such as, horseback riding, ranching, coin collecting, showing his kids and grandkids how to count by playing poker with them, reading suspense novels, and catching the occasional fish. He was absolutely brilliant with sarcasm and perfect at making up his own words to songs.
He served as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War.
He is survived by his very patient wife, Diane Tibbals Aubry and his children, Karisa (Gerald) Reichard, Alicia (Kevin) Whittington and Kevin Russelburg, as well as his beloved grand children, Braxton, Korryn, Gavin and Jillian Reichard, Ainsley and Jane-Kathryn Whittington, and Ashley and Jackson Russelburg. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, John Aubry.
Services will be Saturday, May 26th, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. and the memorial service starting at 11 a.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care 125 W. Sycamore Street, Zionsville IN 46077.
