Ann Martine Clyne
October 13, 1949 - December 3, 2018
Ann “Martine” Clyne, 69, of Zionsville passed away Monday evening December 3, 2018, peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends.
Martine was born October 13, 1949, a daughter of the late Henry and Stanislawa (Grabarcyck) Boehnlein. She was an active member in St. Alphonsus Ligouri Catholic church, serving as parish secretary and participating in the church choir. She graduated in 1971 with a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Marian College in Indianapolis. She worked for many years at Gingerbread House Preschool and was a substitute teacher for Zionsville Community Schools.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years Michael Clyne; children Kathleen (Jon) Jirschele, John (Natalie) Clyne, Suzanne (Brian) Manning, and Thomas (Kristin) Clyne; grandchildren: Grace, Alexandra, Elena, Jackson, Daniella, Luke, Ethan and Alex; sisters Marcia (Ellen) Boehnlein and Lucy Brenner. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother John Boehnlein.
Family and friends will gather for visitation from 4-8pm Wednesday December 5, 2018 at St. Alphonsus Ligouri Catholic Church with a Rosary Service that evening at 7:30. A Mass of Celebration will take place Thursday December 6, 2018 at 11am, also at St. Alphonsus. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Marian University, 3200 Cold Spring Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46222.
